You no longer need to be holding your key in order to open and lock your car. The KESSY (Keyless Entry, Start and exit SYstem) control unit recognises the key up to 1.5 metres away from the car. The vehicle unlocks automatically when the door handles or tailgate are operated. The engine starts at the push of a button.

The Škoda Karoq can be fitted with an optional Virtual Pedal for touchless tailgate opening/closing. The electric tailgate can be optionally opened and closed electrically by pressing a button from the driver’s seat, with the remote-controlled key, or by pressing a button on the tailgate.

The optional electrically retractable tow bar is extremely practical. The tow bar with integrated socket is unlatched using a button in the boot.

The optional Canton Sound System with the total output 550 W uses ten high-performance speakers, including a subwoofer in the boot.
